I had forgotten to cover this in my previous video on "Spelunx and the Caves of Mr. Seudo". Here's the secret room that can be accessed by flipping the elevator's switch to the middle.
It allows the user to change the layout of the caves, add warps, and lock certain areas. I remember reading, somewhere, that there were going to be additional rooms released as expansions (though they were never released.) I'm assuming you could store them in the large box on the right side of the screen.
