Successful Hell Run. Managed to buy the Ankh and other important items such as bombs without angering the shopkeeper. Playing this way makes the Mines pretty tough since you need to get as much gold/gems as possible. The Mattock helped me out quite a lot in doing so and in getting around easier without wasting bombs.

Zum Ausschalten der Gegner gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Die meisten lassen sich mit der Schrotflinte oder dem Scharfschützengewehr einfach von der Platform ins Wasser befördern. Zudem besitzen sie sowieso sehr wenig Lebensenergie. Beim Heruntergleiten zu den Kisten kann man sich ruhig Zeit lassen, da die Entwickler in dieser Mission mit dem Zeit-Bonus sehr großzügig waren.")

This and the following Stages have nothing to do with Mario anymore (Music / Enemies). Still, I really like the design of this level. Compared to later ones youre at least able to tell what things are in the fore- and background.
Say hello to the new enemies which are:
- Flying bees that drop honey on you. In Stage 5 at a certain point they get really annoying. Also how does Honey hurt Mario? Does he have diabetes or something?
- Monkeys in a barrel that throw bananas at you
- Some kind of crate monster. It starts walking as soon as youre near but most of the time youll get hit since you check any crate for health items and fireballs anyways
They only appear like once or twice in the game.
- Green Bats. Just like the bees, theyll get annoying soon enough.
- Fishes. Time your jump correctly on the logs and they shouldnt be a problem.
Stage 3s first part is quite easy, the only thing that might trouble you is the jump at the end. You have to be on the far edge to make it. You can also take the upper path but I personly always go for the crates...even though theres nothing under them.
The second part is a little bit more tricky. As you can see they added water to the Stage. Youll mainly jump from log to log. The ones in the air are simple to use. The logs which are located in the water must be jumped across at the right moment. Otherwise you jump to low and lose a life.
Hope you listened to my advise and safed the fireballs. This pig creature at the end can be quite annoying. The only way in hurting it next to using fireballs is by throwing the vase back at it. The water drops can be tricky to avoid and the boss goes into beserk mode sometimes, too.
In this Walkthrough NO Save States were used. It shows how youre able to beat the game the normal way.

The area around 4:20 is probably the main reason why I never managed a no-death run on this chapter. I always seem to screw up the last or second to last jump.
Also I couldve picked a much better place to create the last save sigil...

This level was very difficult. After around three minutes I had no more problems with the bridge part but the tiny spaces you have to (wall)jump through after that kept me busy for a while.")
