So very close to making it to the City of Gold, but I got chained into a mean-spirited death at the end. Did pretty decently up to that point though.
Spelunky Lesson of the Day: Being stunlocked is always bad, and being stunlocked in the Temple is basically a death sentence if any enemies are around.
06 - I was trying to put a sticky bomb on the caveman and then throw him in the pit with the shopkeeper, but that didn't work out.
42 - This is one reason I hate the slaves, they totally acted as a meat shield protecting the shopkeeper in this case, only serving as a pain in the ass rather than as actual help.
24 - Damn, two darkness levels in one run? Haven't had that in a while...
40 - While I can normally handle shopkeepers, in the darkness they become a whole new level of difficult (especially with terrain blocking him like that), so I just opted to run away even without stopping to get a shotgun. I didn't want to risk him getting out of his little area and blasting me without being able to even see him.
33 - Huh, what are the chances? Cool that I didn't have to spend one of my bombs though.
09 - I was surprised how those bombs synchronized despite being thrown at different times. I know it was because the second bomb was "crushed" when the shopkeeper's head hit the ceiling, but still interesting how it worked out.
46 - I really got lucky with bombs this run. Usually I'm starving for them, but this time it seems they were rather plentiful, which is part of the reason I managed to get so far in this run (and possibly even to Hell had I not screwed up).
45 - Interesting rebound. The exploded shopkeeper was blasted up and stunned the one that was still alive.
54 - If you pay close attention, on the left edge of the screen you can see the giblets from the killed Spelunker. Morbidly fascinating.
20 - Rare track, cool.
