I got really lucky in some situations in this run. Like really lucky.
I'm not watching the entire thing to timestamp them all, but I especially remember these 2 from the same level:
1:50:53 how did I not get poisoned or die there...
1:51:02 and right after the previous. I never get this lucky. This was the opposite of how I lost the Ankh on my 2026-04-27 7-99 Daily. On that one I got perfectly thrown into spikes.
For those who don't know. Fall damage after falling like that would instant kill the player even at 99 health which I almost had.
Also I took Climbing Gloves on purpose on this run. I've pretty much always avoided them in Spelunky 2.
I try to take them in the future as well and get used to them. At least on runs where I don't have Vlad's cape.
SPOILERS (for run outcome) BELOW:
1:56:23 this last level was really chaotic. Would have been hard even with my usual Vlad's cape setup.
I broke the last orb because I run out of time and I hoped I would have gotten an idea of the direction where the exit is based on the direction the celestial jelly comes from.
