This is my 19th CO win total.
10 on Xbox and 9 on PC.
Unlike my previous win this run wasn't generous with bombs.
At start of Cosmic Ocean I really didn't think this would be a win.
Not just because of the bombs (and ropes). It was still an ok amount to start with.
I was also lacking Spring Shoes and/or Climbing Gloves. So I was going to need little more ropes(mainly) but also bombs in some situations.
This was right after a 7-78 run in which I played a lot better. Wish that would have been the win. It also had some crazy Neo Babylon and Temple levels that I somehow survived. It's often surviving the craziest situations that makes deaths feel bad. Because all that surviving didn't matter.
The 7-78 was easy. Exit plan was in execution. Then lava guy knocked a Cave Man into me and threw me into the void and I died to fall damage. Better player could've spotted it though.
This win (19 of 20 characters) actually started to stress me a little.
After I got my first win soon after coming back to this game after about 2 year break.
My win consistency got surprisingly good. I even almost got a win streak of 3 for the first time. Died on 7-91 on the what would have been the 3rd win (youtu.be/02cr4xAWaKA?t=12013).
But this run took a long time. Not many runs overall. But because the runs were so deep they took a long time. Some of the runs I got while trying this:

And knowing that I only had 2 characters left. I was committed.
The 7-78 and 7-91 deaths made me actually really fear Volcana levels in Cosmic Ocean. They used to be some of the more relaxing ones. On this run I was constantly worrying something just drops on me leading to my death.
I used to play on Xbox, but the recordings kept failing.
Now I play on PC. I wanted to get at least one 7-99 win on this version too.
The game itself plays exactly the same on all platforms. It's just for the constellation and player stats to show the special win.
For all my wins I switched the character to the next one every day I played.
So I didn't really choose when each character won. I tried my best with all of them.
