Welcome to my walkthrough of "GoldenEye 007," the legendary first-person shooter developed by Rare. Originally released for the Nintendo 64, this game defined a generation of console shooters. I'm using the 1964 GEPD emulator for a more modern experience with traditional mouse and keyboard controls.

Playing as MI6 superspy James Bond, I'm taking on all 20 of the game's missions on 00 Agent, the highest difficulty setting. To stop the Janus crime syndicate from using the GoldenEye satellite, I’ll need to complete vague mission objectives, navigate confusing areas, and survive intense firefights across low-polygon locations. Can I still hit the speedrun targets? Where is the keycard I need? And can I survive an infinite number of guards? Join me on this let's play to see if I’ve still got my license to kill!

Since its debut on August 25, 1997, "GoldenEye 007" has been hailed as one of the most influential games of all time, revolutionizing the FPS genre and local multiplayer. I first fell in love with this game at age 11. I’m thrilled to revisit this masterpiece for the first time since the 90s and see if the game — and my skills — hold up in this nostalgia-fueled mission.
