Total time: about 1 hour, 30 mins plus probably another hour of me fumbling with Hypercam and a whole day to render this video because both After Effects and Premiere crashed at least once each.
I use a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet PC with which you can turn the screen onto it's side or whatever direction you want both digitally and physically to suit however you want to draw on it. This is why my screen is portrait.
I'm drawing on GIMP 2.6.10. Do you think this is inferior software? Or you think this will make you better at drawing? Whatever your answer is... Good for you my friend. As for me, I, personally, have grown more accustommed to GIMP's interface since i've been using it for a very long time, and though I have Photoshop, Paint tool Sai and other things, I still like using what is widely considered inferior software and by example, hope that people will stop thinking more "Professional" software is the answer to drawing/animating better. Whatever medium you use to draw, you are still the artist behind it, you are the decider for the quality of the work produced.
