Digital painting is done freehand in Photoshop CS, on a Mac. Recorded with Snaps Pro X and final post done with Adobe After Effects and Mpeg Streamclip.
Actual time for completion was approx. 3 hours. Some video footage is missing, specifically at the end, where I sometimes will noodle out some more details, even after the painting is considered finished.
You can find copies of this in Comic book and specialty stores, and I have even seen stores such as Barnes and Noble and Borders carrying them.
