A redo that... I didn't anticipate making it on a whim!
But here we are xD
Those who have followed me on my DeviantArt probably remember the first two pieces showcased at the beginning of the Speed Paint! I randomly stumbled across the first redraw and realized it had been ten years since. So... As one does as "a quick before bed sketch", I made a sketch following the original pose and composition ^^
I also recently got a scanner so I figured it would be a perfect time to use it~
I gave Spottedleaf a completely new design - in fact, I took some inspiration from the "Into the Wild" -poster I did and went from there! Spottedleaf is/used to be one of my favorite characters from the first series and I feel like she's currently part of a lot of conversation going through the fandom... Which is good, it's great that what she does isn't being swept under the rug! But I still can't help but feel a bit sympathetic towards her... This is why I currently have a bit complicated relationship with her character ^^;
About the drawing itself: It was really nice to draw something "short and sweet"~ Or should I say "simple and quick" :3 It was nice to just draw and let my instincts take over!
