Do I dare to say that this is the best drawing to the date that I have done...?:3c
Even if this isn't, it is still high up there! I'm very proud of this drawing and oh my gosh, it sure took up some time as well! I worked on this drawing for two weeks, probably +20 hours if not even more in total!
This drawing was for an Art Trade I did with Hanami A!^^ I linked their part of the trade that she completed before me at the start of the description! These two characters are from her original story and they are named Momoki (she) and Sentoki (he) respectively!
Hanami told me that these two live in very environmentally rich forest and as I love doing nature backgrounds, this was right up to my alley! At first, I was going to go with something a bit more romantic with some challenging perspective but the first doodles of the said idea didn't really sit well with me...:'3 Whops... I originally didn't want to go with this idea as I thought it would be "too basic" but honestly, it was probably better in the long run!
I have been doing quite a few backgrounds lately that I'm super proud of and this is definitely not an exception! It was definitely worth it in the end even if in the middle of shading the trees one by one I felt like trashing the entire image xD But I guess that goes to show that sometimes being persistent works out!
