Happy Halloween~
Or... Late Halloween? Either way, this is my final prompt for Cringetober 2023 and it happened to be "Halloween"!
Last year I wanted to make a Halloween drawing of Tulip and Sabrina, from my Yellow comic :3 Sadly, I never got further than a sketch, most likely because the fall last year just happened to be hectic and I barely had any room for personal art. So! I wanted to go ahead and reuse the sketch from last year - but I didn't! Instead, I completely redrew and sketched out a new idea that also included Michael so the duo became a trio ^^
I am so much happier with this and I am really content that I decided to go with the new flow ♥
Another thing I did differently this time, was I went ahead and drew the lineart on top of the rough sketch. I usually tend to make more refined sketches before lineart but I wanted to try it! At first, it was filled with a bit of struggle :'3 Minus a couple of spots that I sketched out a bit before lining, I'd say that I did surprisingly well~ ^^
I am proud of this piece, especially with the colors and composition :3 It was fun to draw the trio and make them "pop out" of a circular background! I'll have to see if I get the chance to make similar pieces more in the future ^^
