„Bock Auf Dieses Leben“ ist die grell aufleuchtende Neonpunk-EP der 2023 in Brühl gegründeten Die Enterbten – eine Mischung aus Alternative, Punk, Art-Punk und New Wave, die klingt, als hätten sich Mitglieder der Nina Hagen Band, Ideal und Blondie zur Jamsession verabredet und die Tapes wären Jahrzehnte später in einem Frankfurter Studio wiedergefunden und aufbereitet worden. Inhaltlich reißen die Songs zentrale Themen kurz, aber deutlich an: der Titelsong ist ein lauter Aufruf, auch in schweren Phasen aktiv zu bleiben und dem Leben trotz Widerständen zuzustimmen, „Mädchen“ steht für Selbstbewusstsein, Schutz und konsequente Gleichstellung, und „Einzigartig“ feiert Selbstannahme, Ecken und Kanten inklusive. Die EP ist die erste Auskopplung aus dem kommenden Album „Niemals Zu Spät“, das am 26. Juni über NRT-Records erscheint.

Weit Weg ist ein Aufbruchslied – voller Trotz, Sehnsucht und der Kraft, sich von Erwartung und Urteil zu lösen. Zwischen resignierter Klarheit und leiser Hoffnung beschreibt der Song den Weg hinaus aus alten Mustern, hinein in etwas Eigenes, vielleicht Unbekanntes. Mit »Seelenfresser« öffnet ÖTTE auf seiner EP »Prolog« eine deutlich finsterere Tür. Der Song beginnt mit düsteren Synthesizern und atmosphärischen Effekten, bevor schwere Bässe, massive Gitarren und treibende Drums den Raum übernehmen. Hier zeigt die EP ihre härtere Seite: Heavy Rock mit metallischer Schlagkraft, dunkler Spannung und bissigem Refrain.
Inhaltlich geht es um psychische Zersetzung, toxische Beziehungen und den Moment, in dem aus Verletzung Gegenwehr wird. Der Seelenfresser steht als Figur für Menschen oder Kräfte, die Energie rauben, Gift verteilen und emotionale Spuren hinterlassen. Doch ÖTTE bleibt nicht in der Opferrolle stehen: Der Song kippt von Schmerz in Widerstand, von Ohnmacht in Trotz.
Seit den frühen 1980er-Jahren steht ÖTTE für Rock mit Charakter, Stimme und Haltung. Seine Nähe zum Kosmos von Udo Lindenberg und zur Panik-Familie gehört ebenso zu seiner Geschichte wie seine Jahre mit der ÖTTEBAND. Nach dem Neustart als Solokünstler und dem Wechsel zu NRT Records zeigt »Seelenfresser«, dass unter der Oberfläche von »Prolog« nicht nur Melodie, sondern auch echte Wucht steckt.

* About Uzziel: *
Austrian metal band Uzziel is set to release their new single Captured By Emptiness on February 9th, marking a significant reset for the group. The single, to be released through NRT-Records in audiovisual form, delves into the often-hidden struggles of individuals battling self-doubt, depression, and hopelessness, a theme resonating deeply with the challenges many face in society.
Formed in 2010 in Michelsdorf near Kufstein, Uzziel quickly established themselves in the metal scene. Their journey, starting tentatively and gaining momentum, led to a series of demo albums and notable festival performances, including the prestigious Kaltenbach Open-Air and Austrian Hellfest.
Their first demo Broken, released in 2011, showcased their musical strength and versatility. Uzziel, meaning God is my strength in Hebrew and linked to the biblical figure Uzziel, Moses uncle, reflects the bands intense musical energy. Their 2015 demo album Torn Apart secured their place in the German-speaking metal scene with a unique blend of dark Thrash Metal, Groove Metal, and Nu-Metal elements.
In 2019, Uzziel released This Fear in collaboration with SAOL, receiving positive reception for songs and concerts, including performances with Debauchery and Eisregen. Their diverse metal mix caught the attention of German independent label NRT-Records, leading to a long-term record deal in 2022. Despite the departure of Jürgen Hartwagner, the band continued to perform, including a notable appearance at the 10th Anniversary of the Metal Outbreak series.
2024 marks a new era for Uzziel with the re-release of Captured By Emptiness and a remastered version of the original 2015 video, overseen by NRT-Records founder Philipp Gottfried. This release promises to showcase Uzziels evolved sound, blending Thrash Metal, Dark Metal, Groove Metal, and Nu-Metal.
