Hey everyone. Ben here leaving a personal description for this one, hope you enjoyed the reporting on this, as always we put a lot of effort into bringing you the highest quality race reporting we can and this was an amazing race to report on.
The story in this video is about the the finish arena crowd rush at the end. People were hurt this year and it would be negligent of me to not tell you the facts. All the content around this annual tradition as it's now become, is overwhelmingly positive because it gets clicks.
It makes sense. It is captivating and amazing from afar but when you are right in it, it is terrifying. There are so many examples around the world of these situations ending in a bad way and I DO NOT want to have to report on something really bad happening at a future event.
