SPECS TERAPAGOS & SMEARGLE CAUSE RAGE QUITS | 2025 VGC REG I
Howdy Ho, YouTube! Today, I am using a team that my friend @BruneauxVGC posted and used at NAIC. Recently, it won a large, 265-person online tournament. So, let's take a look.
The Restricted pair is Terapagos and Calyrex Shadow. CSR holds a Life Orb with Nasty Plot, a common set in Regulation G. Terapagos is rocking four moves and the Choice Specs items. Since it's normally a set-up Pokémon, both are paired with Decorate Smeargle. This little gal has a ton in her toolkit to punish defensive plays like Spore & Decorate.
Ch-Yu is there to boost the damage for Terap & CSR, and threatens huge knockouts with Beads of Ruin boosted Overheat. Whimsicott provides speed control, but also has Fake Tears in case you can't get Decorates off. Finally, Iron Hands helps in the Trick Room matchup.
