In the third of six lectures we are showing from Fernando Alday's 'Special Relativity' third year course, we look at how Maxwell equations predict the propagation of light at a constant speed, and how this is further confirmed by the Michelson-Morley Experiment. We need to re-think the principles of Galilean and Newtonian mechanics, and replace them by the postulates of Special Relativity.
