One clear issue we have today is people who want to be special. Therefore, you should treat them differently from others. They want to stand out, to have not just any old identity, but a unique identity that conveys something important, like a title.
Sadly, this is a bad plan for lots of reasons. Special means you stand out, you cannot be treated equally, you may think that means 'better' but tradeoffs are real, costs exist, and you won't escape the responsibility.
