I wanted to write a story for each song on "Sampler Platter," and this one’s definitely one of my favorites. I’m sure you guys remember the original demo I posted, and that sample has always stuck with me. Ari and Summer came in as last-minute additions, but I think their back-and-forth on the track really elevated it from good to great.
I had some challenges mixing down the vocals to make sure the ladies were as clear and loud as Don (as you can probably tell at this point, I couldn't get HQ acapellas for everyone), but I think I pulled it off. I’ve probably said this a few times now, but honestly, this is one of my top tracks, and I feel like it sets up the final track perfectly.
