Heya, Rita aka Fàn Lǎoshī is here! And I spoke (broken) Spanish for the whole day when we were in Mexico last month! Thanks for @LaomaChris & @Brianoshea93's help😆
I wasn't trying to pretend to be smart or anything, although editing definitely can make it look that way. I just wanted to show you all what the process of learning and practicing a new language actually looks like as well as the challenges that you might face along the way.
I think this video at least shows:
1. What happens if you don't PRACTICE and USE the stuff you learn
2. That the amount of time you've been learning a language doesn't really mean much, especially when you have long breaks in your studying;
3. That you CAN actually communicate with people when you're at a so-called "low level," as disjointed and mistake-ridden as it may be;
4. That language learning is about making mistakes, and you shouldn't be scared of it;
5. That language learning isn't all grammar exercises and memorizing vocab. HAVE FUN!
