The Lynx team is back with an early preview of something new. In this live session, we’ll explore Sparkling, an open-source project originating from TikTok’s cross-platform infrastructure efforts. The repository is now publicly available, and we’ll use this stream to walk through what’s already there, how it works, and where it fits in the Lynx ecosystem.

During the session, we’ll take a closer look at how Sparkling relates to Lynx, what responsibilities each layer holds, and how they work together in real-world setups. You’ll get a technical deep dive into the architecture, design decisions, and the thinking behind separating concerns between the two.

Łukasz Chludziński and Kewin Wereszczynski will be joined by:

- Xuan Huang - Architect at Lynx
- Kunyang Lee - Engineer at TikTok, contributor to the cross-platform infrastructure of the TikTok app and Sparkling project

Together, we’ll unpack Sparkling’s foundations and demonstrate how it works in practice.

We’ll bootstrap a project live and explore the available functionality step by step. Expect implementation details, architectural insights, and direct perspective from the engineers behind it.
