☆ Focus on the Process
Focusing on the process rather than completing a finished project at the end of your craft session will really transform your creative self care. The more you focus on the process, the better you get and the more experience you gain!
☆ Don't Worry About the Outcome
Worrying too much about what your project will look like at the end of your session can be unhelpful and by doing that you place too much pressure on yourself to produce something "perfect." Enjoy the creative journey and the goal will reflect your joy!
☆ Be Kind To Yourself
Take a break if you need to or try an alternative activity if you are struggling. We all start as beginners and though experience we learn. Talk to your inner critic as you would a loved one who just needs a little extra reassurance.
