INGREDIENTS:
180 g Spaghetti
2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Onion Finely Chopped
2 Cloves Garlic
300 g Turkey Breast
2 Green Bell Peppers
60 g Button Mushrooms
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
800 g Chopped Tomatoes
Fresh Basil Leaves
80g Grated Mozzarella
80g Cheddar Cheese
STEP 1: COOK SPAGHETTI AND TURKEY
Cook your spaghetti according to packet instructions. While your spaghetti is cooking, heat your olive oil in a medium pan and then add your chopped onion. Cook until soft, and then add your garlic and fry for a minute. Now add your peppers, mushrooms and the turkey. Fry until the turkey is starting to brown.
STEP 2: LET SAUCE THICKEN
Pour in your chopped tomatoes, Italian seasoning, the basil leaves and season. Leave to cook for 15 minutes until the sauce has thickened up.
STEP 3: BAKE AND SERVE
Drain your pasta and add it to a bowl. Pour over your sauce and mix. Add half to a baking dish, followed by half of the mozzarella and cheddar. Repeat with the rest of the spaghetti mix and cheese and then bake in a oven preheated to 180C until the cheese has melted and the dish is hot through.
