Watch LIVE as SpaceX launches MRV-1 & 3 MEP satellites (4 satellites in total) aboard Falcon 9, to Geostationary Transfer Orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
Booster on this flight is B1069 ON ITS FINAL FLIGHT with an 81 day turnaround heading out on an Easterly trajectory. There is no booster recovery.
MRV is a satellite servicing payload and is designed to attach up to 30 MEP's (Mission Extension Pods) to satellites in Geostationary Transfer Orbit over its lifespan.
3 MEP's are lauching on this mission, 2 of which will services satellites for Intelsat, whilst the third will service a satellite for Optus.
The satellites are manufactured by Northrop Grumman and will be operated by SpaceLogistics (Nothrop-Grumman owned company).
