The 8th OLIT section was stacked on Sunday.
But this is not the end, a roof section is currently being prepared on the Sanchez side and will finish the launch tower with section 8.
This section will be one of the most exciting parts of the OLIT. Taking into account all the attachment points (gussets), I was able to create the roof section with the help of the community.
And behold, the head of Mechazilla was created.
Elon Musk tweeted on 10 April 2021:
"The Starship launch tower that catches the giant rocket booster is basically Mechazilla".

Doch das ist noch nicht das Ende, eine Dachsektion wird derzeit auf der Sanchezseite vorbereitet und wird mit der Sektion 8 den Abschluss des Startturms bilden.
Diese Sektion wird mit der spannendste Teil am OLIT werden. Unter berücksichtigung aller befestigungspunke (Knotenbleche) konnt ich mit hilfe der Gemeinschaft die Dachsektion abbilden.
Und siehe da der Kopf von Mechazilla ist entstanden.
