No commentary, blind playthrough of Space Trucker. Don't try to fix your display, the wall textures are that dark, it's not like my gamma is too low, or that the textures are not loading.
Oh man... where to begin... This game is atrocious. It looks terrible, it plays bad (major performance issues, not for me fortunately), sounds bad, and is too short for its original asking price (20 bucks). All the levels are space stations which look and play the same, the missions have objectives but are essentially always the same, the enemies come in two different types, it is too easy because you have regenerating health all the time, the game loop is the same all the time (enter a room, enemies teleport randomly, you kill them, next room)... Two kudos for the attempts at worldbuild an alternative timeline set in the 90s, and the starship being interactable, setting course and not much else, as the rest of the equipment is just for show.
But the worst part is not the fact that the game is terrible, it has a gazillion stolen assets: all the enemies are sprites from Tekwar (of all games), sprites and sounds from Blood, Duke3D, Fate, Freedoom, Quake 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Strife, Doom mods, Doom2, Rise of the Triad and probably many more. But it doesn't stop there, many assets are from a previous game whose developer never saw its cut of the benefits and had his access to Steamworks revoked by the author of this crap.
Fortunately, this game has been delisted.

Playthrough a ciegas y sin comentar de Space Trucker. No intenteis ajustar vuestra pantalla, las texturas de las paredes son así de oscuras, no es que mi gamma estuviese muy bajo, o que las texturas no hayan cargado.
Oh Dios... por dónde empezar... Este juego es atroz. Luce terrible, se juega mal (problemas serios de rendimiento, para mi no afortunadamente), suena mal, y es muy corto para el precio que tenía (20 pavos). Todos los niveles son estaciones espaciales que lucen iguales y se juegan igual, las misiones tienen objetivos pero son siempre los mismos, los enemigos tienen dos tipos, es muy fácil pq tu salud se regenera de seguido, el game loop es el mismo todo el rato (entrar en habitación, enemigos aparecen aleatoriamente, los matas, repetir)... Créditos por el intento de crear un mundo alternativo en los 90s, y poder interactuar con tu nave pudiendo seleccionar rumbo y poco más, ya que todo es cosmético y muy limitado.
Pero lo peor no es el hecho de que este juego sea terrible, es que tiene un millón de recursos robados: los enemigos son de Tekwar (no podía ser otro), otros son de Blood, de Duke3D, de Fate, de Freedoom, de Quake 2, de Left 4 Dead 2, de Strife, de mods de Doom, de Doom2, Rise of the Triad y sabe Dios cuántos más. Pero no se queda ahí, muchos de los recursos son de un juego anterior cuyo desarrollador no vio un duro de los beneficios y cuyo acceso a Steamworks fue revocado por el autor de esta mierda.
Afortunadamente, este juego ya no está disponible.
