Get a sneak peek of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum's newest exhibit, the retired Space Shuttle Enterprise (OV-101). Enterprise made her journey from the Smithsonian on top of a 747, then took a barge up the Hudson River and finally was lifted to her new home on the flight deck of the USS Intrepid on the West Side of Manhattan. She is displayed in the Space Shuttle Pavilion and will be open to the public on July 19, 2012.

Enjoy this sneak peek of the pavilion, taken during the media preview on July 18, 2012 and be among the first to see Enterprise in her new home. Then, be sure to visit Enterprise once she is open. She is truly a sight to behold and the Intrepid Museum did an outstanding job of displaying her.

Enjoy!
