Iain Petrie | Space Patrol in colour. (1962) Ep.12. The Glowing Eggs of Titan. By Roberta Leigh @IKP1000 | Uploaded July 2021 | Updated October 2024, 23 hours ago.
For anyone interested in the process: The original B&W episodes are sometimes quite dark, so I've been experimented in PowerDirector10, using the Lighting Adjustment filter. This pulls out a lot more detail in the shadows, but in the previous video, this made the areas which are supposed to be dark areas come out rather grey. This time I applied a less strong filter, then increased the Contrast a little. A new experiment was to then add a Video Denoise filter, which makes the colourising process a little smoother too. The Colourising is done using VideoColorizerColab.ipynb
"Husky's discovery of a luminous egg on the Saturnian moon of Titan could prove to be the solution to the Martian energy crisis."
The first episode in colour can be seen here
