It's been nearly 2 years to the date since we reviewed the Sovol SV06. This budget i3 really impressed me and became my recommendation for most getting their first machine or looking to upgrade from an older printer. A couple months ago Sovol reached out letting me know they where releasing an update to the SV06 called ACE, the moved from Marlin to Klipper, had automated z offset, a built in camera, dual z axis motors for tramming, and that like the original it would be open source. Given that it had been two years I was pretty curious to see if this printer could provide the same ease of use and reliability I experienced with the previous version while adding some speed to the mix. So I agreed to take a look at Sovol sent over the ACE. Today we will be diving into the printer to see what its all about! Come hang out, ask questions, and have a great time!!
