ASK CHATGPT about errors, I am not kidding, It genuinely helped tons of people fix their issues.

If your getting fairseq errors MAKE SURE MICROSOFT VISUALS C++ IS UP TO DATE, and reinstall fairseq with: " conda install -c conda-forge fairseq " , and for me my python had to be running python 3.00, but others might work for you!!

code instructions:
first create environment:

conda create --name so-vits-fork python=3.10

then install python requirements:

python -m pip install -U pip setuptools wheel

then install pytorch requirements (do not install if you have no gpu):

pip install -U torch torchaudio --index-url
download.pytorch.org/whl/cu118

or if you are using an AMD GPU on Linux, replace --index-url download.pytorch.org/whl/cu118 with --index-url download.pytorch.org/whl/rocm5.4.2.

then install so-vits-svc:

pip install -U so-vits-svc-fork

Now your installed! To launch the g.u.i., use the command svcg

Next time you want to use it again, just launch Conda and type "conda activate so-vits-fork" or what ever name you put for the environment initially! Once in the environment, just type "svcg" and the g.u.i should launch again!
