At long last, the plane I have always wanted to fly on has been realized! Southwest's own Maryland One, a plane that bears the flag colors of my home state. Flying on this plane was the perfect ending to a family trip to Disney World, and a great lead in to Christmas. As an added treat (to me anyway) the APU on MD One was INOP on our flight so as a result an air start cart had to be brought to our gate to start one engine. After that one engine had started we pushed back from the gate, taxied over to the end of the ramp, and started up the second engine using cross-bleed air from the other engine. A little icing on the cake if you ask me. Enjoy!
