My name is Orry Martin: The Texas Snake Hunter. This is the Southern Copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix). I catch and relocate more of these than any other snake in my area of Texas. These little pit vipers are beautifully patterned and perfectly camoflaged for their habitat. While most are fairly passive, this guy became heated real quick.
