Welcome to the southern California desert!
After spending a full week in the desert, I can appreciate it ... as well as the lifestyle it requires to take on such a challenge.
In this introduction video, I'm giving you a brief tour of the desert around the Salton Sea. Not too far from the border of Mexico, this vast wasteland keeps treasures of the past ... both hidden and in plain sight.
It took quite a bit of traveling to get there and back, but it was worth it!
