A head-end ride on Amtrak's Southwest Chief on BNSF's former AT&SF (Santa Fe) railway between Needles and Los Angeles during daylight hours, most of this trip usually being at night.
This is Part 3, running from Barstow to San Bernardino over Cajon Pass. In all, there are four parts to this series.
The view is mostly straight ahead, but there are some shots of the crew and of the engineer at the controls.
