We were going on a cruise ship, leaving from the Long Beach harbor and needed to leave the SF Bay Area pretty early in the morning, in order to make check-in, in plenty of time.
My girlfriend's son was at the helm, myself riding shotgun: A few minutes captured as the sun was rising over the Central Valley in northern/central'ish California.
As this was a cold, crisp morning, with low humidities, and lots of cirrus clouds; note all the con-trails in the sky from the airliners that were already running their commute flights back and forth between the Bay Area and the L.A. Area. On days like this, they will hang in the sky-- as winds aloft push them and make them appear wider than they started-- but they will keep their overall straight-line shape for quite a long time.
Car we were in was a 2005 Nissan Murano.
