Researchers at the University of Southampton, have been awarded nearly one million pounds to fund their latest project.
The three year programme is set to improve access to prosthetic limbs, in lower and middle income countries.
The project is part of a 1 point 5 billion pound government fund, to support cutting edge technology in such countries.
