The former South Wellington School has officially reopened as the South Wellington Community Centre after years of community advocacy, government partnership and a $4.4 million renovation project. The new facility gives South Wellington, Cassidy, Cedar and surrounding residents a local place to gather, access programs and rebuild community connections lost when the school closed in 2013.
