Mayor John Cowen Jr. is representing the South Texas Alliance of Cities (STAC) in Washington, D.C., where he is meeting with White House officials and federal leaders to discuss border and regional priorities.

Discussions focused on regional connectivity, national policy considerations related to the space industry and LNG operations, immigration policy and water security. STAC leaders also highlighted the need for continued federal investment in infrastructure.
