South Jetty Beach Replenishment Effort in Fort Pierce Florida
As I recall, the heavy equipment first arrived
(and they started site prep for the arrival of the sand)
back on the evening of Thursday April 7th, 2011.
(site measurements and surveys were taken some time earlier, of course.)
Initial impressions -
The quality of the sand being brought in is definitely an upgrade.
(no more pulverized shell fragments!)
