Our fantastic South Island ride, for me, started a week early with a ride to Hastings for some quality time with the grandkids and the another solo ride to meet with Kiwibadger, Blacksheep Biker and Aaron the big gorilla. Then it was a midnight ride to catch an early morning Cook Straight ferry for the real start of our South Island jaunt.
First there was one, then there were four !!
