LimeWave | South Africa Day 14 - Wilderness & Mossel Bay @Limewave | Uploaded January 2015 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
A short capture of our fourteenth day in South Africa.

In Wilderness one can enjoy beautiful stretches of long white beaches. We made a stop to get a view but the weather didn't make us want to stay. Instead we continued to do some sightseeing and made a stop by "the map of Africa", a mountain that has the same shape as the map of Africa. At the same spot there's a popular place for parasail hang gliding. Before leaving we made a stop at Dolphins Point overlooking Kaaimans River and the rail bridge.

In Mossel Bay we stopped by at Ponto for a very nice lunch overlooking the sea. Here you can also take a walk to the Cape St Blaize lighthouse. You'll be accompanied by the cute rock hyrax running on the cliffs.

From Mossel Bay we drove for a few hours, drove on winding narrows roads before we reached Franschhoek which we were to explore the following day.
