I always wondered how gas actually moves inside of sound waves. So I made this demo that actually simulates compressible gas (nonlinear system with thermodynamics, isentropic gas state equation) and applies a renderer similar to the one we used in Delirium to visualize the flow.
What you see initially is a square volume of gas in near-vacuum that expands outwards and bounces off walls multiple times. Ripples that you see inside of the volume are sound waves.

Build highlights:

- bacause of Mind Over Matter I always have 0 mana and my hybrid/mana flask can be permanently on
How it works:
Scolds bridle inflicts enormous amount of damage on myself because of cyclone with blood magic and 150% mana usage multiplier supports. This damage triggers both Cloaked in Savagery that grants 100% life leech and tons of cast when damage taken spells. All those spells produce power charges because of Volls Protector and frenzy charges because of Terminus Est. Power charges are converted to endurance charges with Volls Devotion. This build can run without any charges at all but discharge increases its efficiency dramatically. Mind over matter is used to empty my mana pool to sustain flasks such as Zerphis that allows me to heal more damage from mana spent than I deal and Divination Distillate to increase max res.

Unfortunately, nvidia experience recorder does not work with PoE d3d11 renderer(which is significantly faster) and somehow flasks are broken during recording: sometimes flask hotkeys are just ignored and sometimes all flask charges are used at once. Normally I have way less life jumps and safer gameplay. Additionally, this software does not record mouse pointer whichs annoying.")
