You can buy the same sample libraries as every other composer. That's not a problem, I sell them for a living.
But how can you make something usable and fun without spending 6 months in the bowels of a sampler? Give my experiment a try.
It has its limitations, but that might be what makes it great. You might just find your own sound along the way.
