Sometimes, life can be wondrous, mysterious, and throw something towards you didn't expect. The fourteen years of Vy's reality has been severely disrupted with the sudden shocking arrival of her deceased mother, Zara. One can only have so many reactions to such a situation. Cheer for joy? Scream in anger? Cry in confusion?

In times like these, a friend by your side can be comforting, but what about when that friend is unstable? She can't understand it yet, but Vy can't ignore it any longer.
There's something wrong with him. And something wrong with the rain. And now her mother just appeared in her kidnappers kingdom?

The green monster, the beast who's been following Vy for centuries... it's name has finally been revealed. The Mourn Beast. But why would it be called such a peculiar name? Mourning for what?

Optic's father has also been revealed, but in a much more emotionally severe way. Optic's shadow seems to falter in comparison to Ragnor's looming figure. Vy's heard the story, and now... what is there to say? It's so much worse than she could have ever imagined. But she is also a very empathetic one. Could one so greedy, powerful, and ruthless simply just be a soul who is lost?

I am so grateful to her for her unwavering love and support for SoulBound, and she takes such a large pressure off me by editing the beautiful swooshing and swirling of the clips. I am always blown away by her generosity and utter kindness that radiates and reflects though everything she makes and everyone she encounters.

Where to even start with this girl. Not only is she my morel support and a good friend, she spent over 4 hours perfecting Laura's lines on my microphone, openly volunteering to make Laura's throne room, sculpting and painting Zara's scar, and helping me further by loaning her beautiful customs to be featured in the castle town. When I put it all down on writing, it really makes it clear what a special person i've got in my life, who's willing to do so much for me. And even though all of those things she did for me was such a blessing, it pales in comparison to simply being able to rant to her my frustrations about SoulBound and any troubles I get in the plot or where I get stuck. She's like a mirror to me in ways, she understands me better than most in my life. Not only that but she is so creative and kind, she is outgoing and self sacrificing, this girl once convinced her brother to drive in the pouring rain to pick me up when I was stranded outside. In short she is a person I honestly don't deserve but she's made a home in my heart and I know though all the years of miscellaneous bickering and spelling corrections that I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. I honestly don't even know how to thank her.

The Animation

Special thanks to Pumpkins Customs, even though she didn't draw a lot, what she did draw was beautifully well done. I know for a fact she would have liked to keep helping me but I don't think she is quite aware of how much she truly did. My brain works in shifts, if I get uninspired by something I simply can't do it, vise versa, if I get a special spark or idea i'm all on board. And Pumpkin gave me that spark I needed.
It was like a shift. Once I had her help, I got into the zone myself, and somehow managed to make it here today. I don't have a frame count but the amount of hours upon hours of time the frames took is uncountable. Even through all that insane work, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Once I have a vision, It's really hard for me to say no. I hope you can appreciate it a bit more after reading the context.
