Well folks, the time has come. For this year’s St. Patrick’s Day special, I have decided to do the unthinkable: to give my Southern 722 Nutshell video an overhaul. I was cringing the whole time while re-editing this pigsty of a video.
Original video: youtu.be/zRXmltXHqBE?si=qYttYin4xn0i0IoO
Try not to cringe at this ;(
Back in 2020 I was in my full-time-making-nutshell-videos-without-rest agenda, with my less than stellar editing skills which I have improved since then, and this was one of several videos I put my least effort into. At the time I was on a roll making these nutshell videos, I didn’t care how bad these edits were, until now. Nowadays, similar to how most YTP videos are made, I have improved on my editing skills quite a lot ever since my first NKP 587 nutshell video, and it keeps getting better for every upload. As long as I DON’T get asked for another request I swear…

![[Trainz 2019] Gintama “Pickpocketing” Remake
Now before anyone asks, this video isn’t 100% accurate with the translation, and if anyone asks why there isn’t enough rolling stock or scenery in the background of some shots, I’d blame the switching crew responsible for arranging the consists between shots. Either that or it’s perfectly fine, it’s just that it was filmed further away from where all the consists were. Oh well.
Anyway, this is the first ever parody/remake of Gintama I have ever made! I know that I should’ve used Japanese locomotives and rolling stock which would’ve been more appropriate for me since the audio is already Japanese, but what the heck, anyone can learn Japanese, even us Schewpid Americans! lol.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own the original audio clip, nor do I condone the act of pickpocketing. A crime such as this must be tolerated by any means necessary.
As for the 2479, I was going to give her a voice, particularly one from MLP, but I decided not to but instead I dubbed her whistle in that clip. Same goes with the SD45, except I forgot to add the bell sound for good ol’ Gintoki. Oh well, it still works even without the bell.
If anyone doesn’t know, at 0:19, I included a sound bite of Joseph Joestar (who shares the same voice as Gintoki) from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures: All Star Battle R, which is basically the element of surprise in this video. The surprise that is, being bumped by a little kid. Talk about tough luck, even in a busy rail yard. You live and learn, what can I say?

![[Trainz 2019] “Day 37 Under The Dome” The Simpsons Movie Remake
This one took me a lot longer than I thought after I finished my homework for today, but here’s another Simpsons Movie clip I decided to remake! If you don’t know what’s going on, allow me to elaborate.
BREAKING NEWS!!! It is day 37 since the US Government has placed a huge dome over Springfield, and most of its citizens are losing their sanity! Their only news anchor, Kent Brockman, is trying his best to keep the town he loves informed for any future updates, whether or not the situation will worsen.
Over at Moe’s Tavern, we see Moe, Carl, Barney and Lenny trying to stay sane, until the power goes out. That’s when things start to get weird.
Audio Source: https://youtu.be/SdeDGby6hec?si=OvCH6Ou8TWQ3NwIB
Models Used:
- UTLX Tanker - Built In
- SP SD45 - Built In
- UP SD40-2 - DLS
- UP Challenger #3800
- SP AC-4 #4100 Postwar (PRIVATE)
- GTW #6325 U3b - K&L Trainz
If you’re wondering how I made the headlights illuminate the surroundings, mainly from the makeshift TV and when Moe gets “grounded” lol pun intended, I basically used another locomotive for both scenes and hid them using invisible track. Clever eh? Why don’t you trainz content creators give it a try? It’s a fun trick!

Clip 9: The year was 1943, and SP AC-3 #4025 (despite her age) pulls one of the SPs famous Pacific Fruit Express (PFE) trains across the Mojave Desert, and her whistle shreeks out loud across the remote desert landscape while the train coasts along past a remote railroad crossing.

*Editors note: Since there are no actual recordings (Video or audio) of the old 4294 in action, I had to improvise by mixing whatever sounds I could use, and this is the final result.*

Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s been a long time since I made my last video in this series, but it’s finally back after so long! If you thought my 4th remake was the end, think again. This is basically the same video, but with every shot completely remade, and three extra shots to make the video somewhat longer! Enjoy!

![[Trainz 2019] Silver Train Music Video - Thanksgiving Day Special
Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone! For this special occasion, I have finally put together a banger of a video! First time featuring the Rolling Stones! So without further ado, enjoy all the sights and sounds this music video has to offer by yours truly!
Btw since I got Trainz 2022 again, this will be the last Trainz 2019 music video I’ll make. At least for a while.
SFX only version: https://youtu.be/y67LwVlYSgQ?si=IRfkpqz99F2w1iAf
DISCLAIMER: I do not own the rights to this song! I only used it for entertainment.
Yes I am aware that the cab forward 4294 model I used has her white stripes in some shots. That’s because I was reskinning the model at the same time I was recording some of these shots. And personally, I like it better without the white stripes, so from this point forward it’ll be just that. No stripes, no problem.
I have personally never heard of this song in a very long time. The very first time I heard it, I was watching a short video compilation of the many trains seen in several movies, and this song played right after the infamous “Choo Choo Ch-Boggie” song from a movie A League of Their Own starring Tom Hanks. I forgot how the video first started, but it did include several train clips from movies like Silver Streak, Superman, Indiana Jones (I forgot which movie it was) Stand By Me, and several others which I have long since forgotten from that video. It’s been so long since I have seen that video, but it feels good to be listening to this song once again after not hearing it for so long! Let me tell y’all, the power of nostalgia is ruthless!
