There are many reason to attempt a SOTA summit activation. But the 2 measly points you get for Turtlehead Mountain aren't worth it on their own. Not even close! This path is steep with constant footing issues and lots of loose rock. It seems everybody falls on this trail at least once. It's a great personal trial for me. I hope you enjoy!
