If you thought YouTube was bad well it looks like TV will do anything for ratings - including trapping 16 contestants on a deserted island filled with rage infected monkeys. Oh, and there is only one way off the island.

SOS from Outpost Games is a slightly different take on the whole battle royale / last man standing genre of games. Yes, you have to survive on your wits and whatever weapons and supplies you can scavenge from the environment. But co-operation is handled a little differently with no ability to queue with you friends you have to party up with random people throughout the game world using high fives and the games in-game voice chat feature.
Who said reality TV does try anything fresh and new!

PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds is the phenomenal battle royale style game that has been topping the charts of PC sales ever since its launch into Early Access. Created by modder turned developer Brendan Greene along with development studio Bluehole, PUBG since you parachute on to an island where you must hunt for weapons and supplies in order to survive. All the time racing to the next location as the map restricts and your fellow players attempt to be the last man standing and grab that coveted Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner.
