Now for something completely different.
I think SOS diving is the most fun you can have in Helldivers 2. Sometimes the odds are stacked massively against you, sometimes you have zero hope of winning. But every time you snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, or defeat from the jaws of victory, you feel it in your bones. I can't remember the last game that gifted such memorable experiences.
