So i've been doing this for close to two years straight now, with only two weeks off in total.
Finding and sharing interesting records is rarely an issue, but sometimes, it's mentally exhausting. Last week felt a little like that, and then the stream was blocked for two days.
Sometimes I feel I need to take the next one off, and then, as the days go by, I get ideas, intuitions, put together an introduction, and hope for the best. Even if your contributions and comments are really instrumental, it's on me if I'm off, and I really don't want to phone it in. It's only a small community, but still, Ifeel the responsability and honor that is being given to me, with your time and energy. This Friday is no exception, so I hope the threads I'll follow will resonate ^^
Le noir espace, beau pour une occulte fête,
A, pour moi, recueilli la vie et la répète
En des formes qu'agite un frisson d'océan.
Dans cette irruption d'images se créant,
Peu à peu se dessine une énorme cohue
Qui se démène, lutte et vers l'argent se rue,
Pour garder plus longtemps, sous le ciel angoissé,
Le don prodigieux de vivre et de penser.
Puis cette multitude, aux gestes frénétiques
Si divers et pourtant par leur but identiques,
S'ordonne et représente une autre humanité
Grande d'incertitude et de complexité :
L'humanité qui veut — gourmande insatiable —
Joindre aux plaisirs des sens ceux de l'âme, à sa table,
Et, ne pouvant jamais sonder toute sa nuit,
S'effare du cloaque affreux où la conduit
L'attachement à la matière cajoleuse ;
L'humanité ravie à la fois et peureuse
D'ouvrir à tous les vents prometteurs son cerveau,
Et qui, tenace en son espoir aveuglément, sans trêve,
Entre les deux néants de la Terre et du Rêve.
