Still been playing this some.
Heres a run where I play as Captain Early. It seems your player character choice has consequences... from my perspective, Captain Early feels almost like an easy mode, since youre likely to finish first in the race, you can focus on collecting easy-to-access key treasures rather than relying too much on RNG or going through every planets most minor detail.
I dont know if my route here is the optimal one, but it did the job well enough for demonstration purposes. The idea behind this was to get through Satella ASAP so I could unlock Minimum Planet and take their treasure quickly. The Sand planet was a stop to pick up some extra treasure to ensure victory.
