"Burn Rubber" is an unreleased song performed by SOPHIE. It is speculated that the track was part of her second studio album. It features Sarah Bonito of Kero Kero Bonito.

“Burn Rubber” is an idiom for driving fast. SOPHIE’s signature squelching, industrial samples mimic the aural imagery of car tires squealing, and the lyrics imply a fast-paced lifestyle, capturing one essence of what it might just mean to live hard. The track was originally produced by Jimmy Edgar and Sophie. The track is arguably SOPHIE’s most well-known unreleased song as it is played frequently at her sets. The song was played numerous times along with Charli XCX, sometimes just performing while lip-syncing the song and other times singing it as a double feature with Roll With Me.

Sarah confirmed the feature in a 2017 Reddit AMA.

On March 30, 2019, a studio quality demo of the song leaked on the PC Music subreddit and was taken down shortly after, but since then has been re-uploaded.
