I am not saying that my rendering time will be the same for everyone. It won't...it depends on transitions and effects that are added (which will slow down rendering time) and also your computer. That's why I stated at the end that the rendering times could be different for you.

Bringing you guys a Sony Vegas rendering guide on what is the best format to choose, WMV or MP4. I break down in 3 sub-categories:
-Quality
-Size
-But most important, time

Overall, there is no major difference between quality and sizes for each video format. The biggest difference came with rendering time.

Because of this, in my opinion, the best format to choose to MP4 for Quality, Size and great rendering speed!

My render times could possibly be better or worse than yours because my machine is different and possibly more powerful.
